This beautiful elongated space at the front of the Chassé theatre used to be a shop. The lounge was designed by M+R as a white transparent space where the transition from the square to the interior space is almost invisible.

FRONT LOUNGE

With the adage 'see and be seen' everything in the space is visible. By using mirrors the space becomes almost infinite and reflects the surroundings.
The toilets (first gender neutral toilet in the Netherlands) are also part of the space experience, large glass portholes give the stay on the toilets the feeling of wild peeing. Theater themes are included as atmospheric elements in the interior.
