Forvis Mazars Eindhoven: A circular work environment by M+R
The office project in the Kennedytoren, Eindhoven, reflects the core values of M+R interior architecture: sustainability, circularity and innovation. Originally designed for HERE Technologies, M+R reconfigured the existing interior and aligned it with the wishes and identity of the new tenant, Forvis Mazars. This project demonstrates how the reuse of materials and furnishings not only contributes to environmental friendliness, but also to aesthetic and functional quality.

From HERE Technologies to Forvis Mazars
In 2016, M+R developed an innovative work environment for HERE Technologies in the Kennedytoren, centrally located next to Eindhoven station. The design included 9 floors, each with a unique layout and thematic interpretation based on world regions and navigation - in line with HERE's core activities. The interior design emphasized sustainability and well-being, with attention to climate control, acoustics, use of light and ergonomics. When HERE reduced its space requirements due to digitalisation and hybrid working, M+R built a bridge between HERE and Forvis Mazars, resulting in a sustainable repurposing of the 10th floor. A large part of the system walls and permanent furnishings were retained, while the interior was adapted to the new corporate identity of Forvis Mazars. The colour palette and furnishings have been subtly renewed, while retaining the original design and a fresh look.

The office of Forvis Mazars exudes peace and openness, with a balance between functionality and aesthetics. The new working environment offers various work and meeting spaces: quiet workspaces, team spaces, meeting rooms and concentration workspaces. Green areas and a smart layout contribute to a healthy and inviting working environment, which encourages employees to come to the office. The hybrid working concept fits in seamlessly with the modern requirements of flexibility and productivity.
The Kennedytoren offers Forvis Mazars a strategic location in the heart of Eindhoven. M+R has created a working environment that is not only functional and contemporary, but also circular and future-proof. Despite the fact that the original design is almost eight years old, the office looks as good as new thanks to careful reuse and high-quality finishing.
